Project 52 – Shoes (9/52) | Central Coast Pet Photographer

Beautiful Beasties is an international network of professional pet photographers, of which I am very privileged to be a part of. Within the network a group was formed for photographers who wanted to participate in a project, a 52 week project. Each week a theme is chosen and posted, then we all go out and take a photograph or series of photographs to fit the theme, then we all post onto our own websites and form a ring by linking all the websites. That means you can look at my images and then follow the links all over the world to see what other pet photographers are capturing.

The theme for week 9, chosen by Jayme Dukart from Oregon City is “Shoes” – “I think it would be fun to see what everyone comes up with that involves pets and shoes.  It could be a dog standing in a pair of shoes..maybe a cat curled up in a shoe box…or a favorite pair of shoes that have been chewed up by a puppy?”

I had so many ideas for this theme, so I decided to spread the theme over two photo-shoots using two dogs. Firstly I went and visited ‘Little Miss’ at her home…

Little Miss has a new baby brother or sister on the way soon….

Next I went to visit ‘Alfie’ and he and his Mum helped me out with a ‘night on the town look’….

Doesn’t Alfie look like a dapper Gentleman?

Now as usual, sit back and follow the links all the way around our blog ring, starting with – Spotty Nose Pet Photography in Los Angles, California, lets see what types of shoes the other pets got to play with this week.

Thanks for joining me for another week.

  1. Those first ones with your tummy and the shoes all in a row made me get all choked up. So sweet. And your little man is just amazing. Wonderful job with this theme!

    1. Thank you Barbara – but just so there is no confusion – that is not my tummy – I’m not pregnant :) Both of these Cuties are clients dogs.
