With Summer almost over, I thought time was running out to get this theme in (ok, honestly, most dogs I know swim all year long, but it’s a good excuse, right?)

The very beautiful Ocean (who featured last week as well) and the very Dashing Diesel, who are both looking for their forever homes but are both lucky enough to be fostered with staff at the Pet Resorts Australia – Terrigal complex – were having an absolute blast in this weeks hot weather!

What better way to cool down than swimming, running, jumping and splashing in the resorts pool!

It is always so wonderful watching dogs play – even better when they are dogs in foster care who are obviously having the time of their lives! Here’s to hoping these two find Forever Families really soon xox

Little Olaf came into the studio last week and he brought his little person with him, you may have seen them both star in lats weeks Project 52 post about Books….

They really are the most super cute little pair!

Now it’s time to share more of Olaf’s pet portrait session….

I seriously adore having kittens in the studio! Look at those time paws and those whiskers! Too cute for words!

But those eyes, just look at Olaf’s beautiful eyes….sharonstokes_centralcoastpetphotography_7488

Olaf’s little Person is very serious about how much she loves him – these two are pretty much inseparable…

She looks quite proud of Little Olaf, don’t you think?

Here is one more image of Olaf, well, because you just can’t have too many cute kitten images…. right?

I hope you all enjoyed the images from Olaf’s Pet Portrait Studio Session, I certainly did.

Wow, Friday already! I almost forgot to take this weeks images!

This week I chose details, and a dog who needed adoption profile images – now there are some breeds of dog that have ‘details’ that are fairly unique, lucky for me this weeks model has some very beautiful ‘details’…..

Like her fluffy ears….sharonstokes_centralcoastpetphotography_8458

And her ‘boofy’ tail…..

And her piercing eyes….

Now let me introduce “Ocean” a 15 month old Siberian Husky who would love a Family to call her own….

Isn’t she just beautiful!?!

Ocean is a private rehoming and if anyone would like to meet Ocean, her foster carer – Shanai – can be contacted through me.

I hope you all liked my look at the ‘details’ of a Husky, see you next week.

For week 5 of my Project 52, I chose ‘Books’ as my theme.

I had a few ideas in mind, but when I realised I had young Miss Arlia and her new kitten Olaf coming into the studio today, I knew what image I wanted.

Aren’t they just the cutest pair!?

I will share more of their studio session soon, but for now I hope you have enjoyed this weeks instalment of my project 52.

See you next week.

A few months back now (yes, I am that far behind with my blog posts) I had a lovely drive out to Elm Park in the very beautiful Dooralong Valley to photograph the Haskell Families animals. I knew this session would be fun, I mean there were dogs, horses, sheep, chickens and ducks! What more could a pet photographer ask for?

When I arrived and had chosen a nice spot and was setting up ready to photograph the dogs, the ducks came marching right through on their way to the dam

They got a bit confused because I was there and did a bit of a circle away from then back to the dam, but they made it to the water without too much fuss!

Now, back to the dogs! Meet Kelly, a beautiful, gentle 15 year old Girl who was more than happy to laze in the grass for her photos!

Then there is Jasper, at just 3 years old, Jasper is a bit of a clown, he is sweet, energetic and he just makes you smile!

Don’t they make a lovely pair?

Next up are Arthur and Buster two young sheep who have been hand raised and are quite the characters!

See this look? This look means “Hey, photographer Lady, I’m about to head-butt you ’cause it’s a game I play!”

While Arthur and Buster are kind of spoilt there is a whole flock of sheep living the good life here at Elm Park.

Now we moved on to photographing the horses, we started with Dakota, a beautiful 17 year old Gentleman…

While Dakota was happy to stand around in the shade on his own, once his little sister Faith was brought out things took an interesting turn! Faith at 5 years old is a bit of a firecracker – but boy, was she lovely to watch and photograph!

Faith obviously keeps Dakota feeling younger than he is! Now while the horses were having fun, so was Jasper….stealing carrots!

Faith and Dakota finally agreed to calm down and I captured this lovely tender moment between them…

Now, I will just finish up with this super cute shot of one of the littlest members of the Elm park Family…

I did mention cute, but sassy too!!

I would like to thank the Haskell Family for inviting me out to their beautiful property, it was an honour and a privilege to photograph your animal Family for you xo
