I am very lucky to have, in close proximity, a beautiful deciduous tree lined street, our weather gives us just on two weeks of lovely colour and every year I manage to get clients who are happy to make the most of the dramatic colour.
Here are the Waters siblings, who were just brilliant to work with, these guys really know how to work the camera!
The trees are bare now, but I am already looking forward to next years colour.
Last Sunday was the final Central Coast Quarter Horse Assoc. show for this season, and while the temperature and the numbers were a bit low, those horses and owners who braved the cold had a great day filled with fun and plenty of prizes.

These are some of my favourite images from the day…
I would like to thank the CCQHA committee for inviting me along this season, I had a wonderful time and look forward to a huge next season.
Thank you to all the competitors who allowed me to photograph their beautiful horses, see you all soon.
May 31st & June 1st, the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, the weather was always going to be unpredictable, but nothing was going to stop the almost 200 horses and riders competing in the annual Hidden Valley ODE. Actually we were really super lucky and the weather played nice most of the weekend.
Hidden Valley is such a stunning location, I am completely in love with this location.
Saturday morning started off with the elegance of the dressage phase…..
The full dressage gallery can be found HERE.
Later in the day we moved on to the excitement of show jumping…

Sunday dawned a bit damp, but cleared up for most of the day and after the last round of show jumping we moved onto the agility and endurance of the Cross Country phase….
While all the cross country jumps are exciting, I think the water jump is always the one that gets the most interesting responses from the horses, there are those who barely notice the water is there…
Then there are some that like to stop.check.then go calmly
Then there are those horses who try to leap over the entire body of water, but then loose control…
Fortunately all the riders stayed mostly dry at this event. The full Cross Country gallery can be found HERE.
I hope all the riders and their horses had a great weekend, I certainly had an fabulous weekend! A big thank you to all the hardworking team out at Hidden Valley for organising and running such a fun event.
